Your community. Your privacy.
This notice describes Jew Wall v2’s beta. Last updated 9 September 2026.
What we store
When member accounts open, your account uses a verified email. Your community profile includes a display name, optional introduction, city and email preference. We store group memberships, announcements, replies, event RSVPs, attendance, reports and notification history to provide those features.
Who can see it
Listed group introductions and member counts can be public. Unlisted introductions require a current invitation or an existing membership. Group conversations, gathering locations and details are visible to approved members. Organisers and moderators can review membership requests, guest lists, attendance and reports for their own groups. Your email is not included in a member directory or organiser export.
Blocking hides conversations between the affected accounts. It does not remove either person from shared gatherings or replace organiser moderation.
Service providers and measurement
Vercel hosts the site. Neon supplies the community database and account service. Resend delivers configured sign-in and community emails. Stripe processes organiser billing only when paid plans are enabled. External ticket links use the organiser’s chosen provider, whose own privacy terms apply.
We use Vercel Web Analytics for traffic, anonymous action counts in the owner’s analytics dashboard, and private activity records to understand whether members participate again. V2 traffic reports exclude invitation tokens and group identifiers. Conversations, entered form values and email addresses are not sent as traffic analytics properties. The sample preview runs in your current page and is separate from live community records.
Shop submissions
We store shop directory and product submissions with your account for review. Approved shop names, website links, descriptions and categories are public. Directory visits are aggregate outbound click counts, not unique people or confirmed purchases. We measure listing attempts and successful submissions without sending entered values. We store seller submissions with your account for review. Approved seller names, product descriptions, prices, images, shipping regions and product links are public. Pending submissions and review feedback are visible to you and the shop owner. Your email is not published. Uploaded photos are stored privately and become publicly viewable only with an approved listing. Unsubmitted uploads may remain privately stored for moderation and support. Older externally hosted product images load from the seller’s website; buying links lead to that website, whose privacy and purchase terms apply. We count clicks on purchase links as aggregate totals per product, visible to the seller and shop owner. This counter stores no visitor identifier, IP address or email and does not tell us whether a purchase happened. You can withdraw listings in Shop. Deleting your community profile hides your shop listings; submission records may remain for moderation.
Product activity
While signed in, named button actions, general page categories and action outcomes are linked to your account in the owner’s private CRM to understand product use. We do not include entered text, document contents, URL query strings or passwords. This browser tracking respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, turn community emails off, leave groups, block members or delete your community profile in settings. Profile deletion hides your contributions, removes memberships and future RSVPs, and replaces your name in retained records. Past attendance and essential moderation or billing records may remain. It does not automatically delete your separate sign-in account at the authentication provider.
Organisers must archive communities they own and address active subscriptions before deleting their profile. Profile deletion cannot be undone through the app.
Earlier beta submissions
Event submissions and newsletter interest collected in version 1 remain separate. They are not automatically converted into v2 accounts, group memberships or newsletter subscriptions. Newsletter interest does not mean newsletter delivery is active.
